ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a Petrol Bunk in Survey No.3594 based on the communication of the 3rd respondent, dated 14.10.2011.

2. According to the petitioner, he applied to the Bharat Petroleum Corporation for running a retail outlet in Town Survey No.3594, New Palace Road, Pudhukottai. An application was also submitted before the second respondent seeking No Objection Certificate for the same. Based on the above application, the second respondent asked the third respondent viz., the Tahsildar, Pudhukottai, to conduct an enquiry in and by his proceedings Na.Ka.No.6484/2006/A4, Dated 06.07.2006. Based on that, the third respondent also conducted enquiry and submitted a report in and by his proceedings, dated 14.10.2011, but the second respondent did not consider the application of the petitioner, so far. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. Since the application of the petitioner seeking No Objection Certificate is pending with the second respondent from the year 2010 and already the Tahsildar, Pudhukottai has also submitted his report before the second respondent, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner for issuing No Objection Certificate, on merits and in accordance with law and pass suitable orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
