This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the Anmigam Adal Padal, Dance, Cultural Programme on 05.09.2019 at 7.00 p.m. in the eve of Arulmighu Devi Sri Mutharamman Kovil., Vijayaramapuram, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, which is scheduled to be held from 29.08.2019 to 07.09.2019.

3. Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) takes notice for the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission to conduct the Anmigam Adal Padal, Dance, Cultural Programme on 05.09.2019 at 7.00 p.m. in the eve of Arulmighu Devi Sri Mutharamman Kovil, Vijayaramapuram, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, which is scheduled to be held from 29.08.2019 to 07.09.2019, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 01.08.2019 and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
