ORDER

Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the third respondent to complete the entire proceedings for issuing patta in favour of the petitioner's name in respect of the land in old Survey No.33/31, new Survey No.149/10, situated at Poolangudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation, dated Nil. 2013, within a stipulated time.

4. The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the land in New survey No.149/10 of Poolangudi village from one G.E.William vide sale deed, dated 13.02.1996. Thereafter, in the year 2013, the petitioner made a representation to the third respondent to get patta in her favour. Based on which, the Revenue Divisional Officer had directed the fourth respondent to conduct field enquiry after verifying the documents. Thereafter, there seems to be no action on the representation made by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to complete the proceedings for issuing patta in favour of the petitioner's name in respect of the land in old Survey No.3331, new Survey No.149/10, situated at Poolangudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation, dated Nil. 2013, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
