The present writ petition has been filed by a councillor of Thirupuvanam Town Panchayat seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct the council meetings by strictly complying 2/5

with Section 20 of the District Municipalities Act and by providing a fair opportunity to the petitioner to interpellate in the council meetings of Thirupuvanam Town Panchayat.

2.It is needless to point out that the council proceedings have to be conducted strictly in compliance with the provisions of the District Municipalities Act. Only if any violation is alleged, it is for the petitioner to approach the competent authority to ventilate his grievances. 3.Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
