ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, (FAC) Tirunelveli, to expedite the conduct of the proceedings in C.C.No.174 of 2018 within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a private complaint and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.174 of 2018 and the same is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, (FAC) Tirunelveli.

3. It is seen from the diary extract that the case is pending for trial from 2022 onwards and as rightly contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner, under the caption for 'issue of process'.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the case is pending from 2018, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, (FAC) Tirunelveli, is directed to proceed with the trial and dispose of the 2/4

same within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
