The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the third respondent to include the petitioner's name in the appropriate place in the Seniority Panel drawn by considering the objections of the petitioner dated 05.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, by circulating the proceedings of the third respondent dated 10.06.2025, submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, as the third respondent has rejected the petitioner's claim on 2/4

the ground that his name does not fall within the ambit of the 'Zone of Consideration'. It was further submitted that, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order dated 10.06.2025, he must challenge it separately and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition.
