The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent Police to complete the investigation and to file charge sheet in Crime No.100 of 2016, on the file of the third respondent Police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that, now the investigation in this case is over and the third respondent police has also filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2 Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11907 of 2019 a negative final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, based on the statement given by the defacto complainant. The referred charge sheet notice has also been served to the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the final report has been filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, no further order is required to be passed in this Criminal Original Petition and the same stands dismissed. However, if at all the petitioner has any grievance against the negative final report, it is always open to her to take appropriate remedy in the manner known to law.
