O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament schedule to be conduct the Tournament on 19.03.2016 06.00 p.m. to 20.03.2016 10.00 AM under lights at Sports Ground near Santhana Mariamman Kovil, Eliyanainarkulam, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation to the respondents, dated 29.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. This Court is aware of the fact that the Election Commission of India has announced time table for elections to the State Assembly and therefore, the Police will be under much strain. Under such circumstances, it will not be advisable to grant permission for such programmes, if there are going to be any law and order problem

4. Without going into the merits of the case, respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner taking into consideration the antecedents of the petitioner and his capacity to conduct the tournament and all other factors including communal and law and order factors and dispose the same on merits and in accordance with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

law, expeditiously, preferably on or before 19.03.2016. In the event of the authorities deciding to give permission, the same should be given upto 10.00 p.m. only and it should include the conditions imposed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.1474 of 2016 dated 22.01.2016.
