ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983, pending in File No.Tha.Pa.19/2022/A5, within such time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal and to conduct an enquiry after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the second respondent and thereafter, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
