ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner without following due process of law.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested and released on bail. However, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking the aforesaid relief. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner herein is an accused in six criminal cases, which are involving offence under NDPS Act. He would further submit that the petitioner was arrested in case in crime No.1158 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and subsequently released on bail subject to the condition that the petitioner should appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am., for a period of one month and thereafter, every Monday, for a period of four weeks. Since he was not complied with the condition, the respondent police called him to comply the conditional order. He would also submit that other than that the respondent police has not harassed the petitioner.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15057 of 2020 4.It is seen that the petitioner is an accused in six cases. He was arrested and subsequently released on conditional bail. However, he failed to comply the conditional order and now the petitioner come forward with the present petition. This Court is of the view that there is no merit in this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
