ORDER
This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.305 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.305 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 467, 468, 406, 420 IPC. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 1 year, no progress has been made and final report has not yet been filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far 5 witnesses have been examined, accused 1 & 2 released on bail and the third accused is absconding. Further he would submit that the final report will be filed within a short time. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one of the accused is not absconding but roaming in the village. 5.Considering the nature of the offence, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing of the final report, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15210 of 2021 compliance report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
