O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to make suitable amendments in the register maintained by them and to fix the value to the land belonging to the petitioner in line with the adjacent properties in order to enable the petitioner to register the document pertaining to the subject property. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3. 3.The case of the petitioner is that already a civil Court decree was passed in O.S.No.469/1983 by the Additional District Munsif Court, Dindigul, wherein, the title was declared and permanent injunction was also granted in favour of the family members of the petitioner and this suit was

instituted against the Tamil Nadu Boothan Board.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the register maintained by the third respondent shows as if the property belong to Tamilnadu Boothan Board. In view of the same, no value has been assigned to this property. Hence, the petitioner made a representation in this regard to the third respondent on 13.02.2020 to alter the register. Since the same as not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the decree passed in O.S.No.469/1983 by the Additional District Munsif, Dindigul, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.02.2020 and to make necessary changes in the register and to fix the value of the property in line with the other adjacent similarly placed properties. This process shall be completed by the third respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs. 09.10.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No RR To
