ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.10.2015 submitted to the third respondent and to grant recognition for the school for the period from 09.06.2014 to 31.05.2017.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3.The petitioner is the correspondent of a school who has applied for recognition and approval from the educational authorities. According to the petitioner, earlier an application was sent on 02.07.2014 which was returned by the third respondent on 05.09.2014 for want of certain compliances. After rectifying the defects pointed out, it was again re-presented and the respondents 2 to 4 inspected the school premises and submitted inspection report on 26.06.2015. has been filed, no action has been taken by the respondents. While so, the third respondent returned the application along with a letter on 13.10.2015 pointing out the eight defects to be complied with. According to the petitioner, the said defects pointed out by the third respondent have been complied with and resubmitted the same on 24.10.2015. However, there was no response. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition.
4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 24.10.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
