Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.The petitioner was working as Assistant Manager(PF) and he retired from service on 30.06.2007. After retirement, his pension is being paid. But according to the petitioner, there is an amendment to the Gratuity Act as per which there is balance of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary amount totally Rs.53,134/- that may be paid to the petitioner. As it was delayed, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents on 21.11.2014 requesting them to pay the balance amount of Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary. The same has not been acted upon by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent also submitted that he would consider the representation dated 21.11.2014 within a period of 6 weeks and pass orders. The said statement is recorded.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
