PRAYER:- Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to survey the lands measuring 2 1⁄2 cents and to demarcate the boundaries and subsequently to issue patta in petitioner's favour for Punja Survey Number 196/6, present survey Number is 196 / 6A situated in Kavalakurichi Village , Uthumalai Sub registrar , Alangulam Taluk, Tenkasi District and demarcate the same by laying survey stone by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23/09/2021. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to survey the lands and to demarcate the boundaries and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the subject property by considering the representation dated 23.09.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, based on the written instructions received from the second respondent, submitted that the representation / application submitted by the petitioner is under consideration and that the entire process will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Taking into consideration the fats and circumstance of the case and also the fact that the survey has to be conducted and the boundaries have to be demarcated and the property has to be subdivided and thereafter, patta has to be 2/4

issued in favour of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant three months time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to enable the second respondent to complete this process.
