ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to settle leave salary of Rs.83,857/- of the petitioner's husband Late.J.Ranjithsingh to her together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum payable from 24.10.2011 to the date on which the above benefits are settled to the petitioner.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.A.Jayaram, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.
3.The petitioner is the wife of an employee of the respondent Corporation. The petitioner's husband was employed as Special Grade Driver in Virudhunagar Branch and died on 24.10.2011. The other retiral benefits have been settled by the Corporation excepting the surrender leave salary of Rs.83,857/- payable to the deceased employee.
4.When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent expressed no objection for considering the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2015 in this regard and disbursing the surrender leave salary.

5.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2015 and disburse the surrender leave salary within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
