O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry, based on the complaint given by the 3rd respondent. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners reiterated the contentions set out in the original petition. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1&2, on instructions, would submit that the third respondent has preferred a complaint against the petitioners in CSR No.309 of 2020 and on enquiry, the petitioners herein had given undertaking that they had paid a sum of Rs.50,000/- as advance amount and will return 8 sovereigns jewels to the 3rd respondent herein and on completion of enquiry, the 3rd respondent had stated that no further action is necessary in the complaint and therefore the complaint given by the 3rd respondent was closed on 29.09.2020.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.15096 of 2020 5.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor,(Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. If there is any dispute between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent, in respect of any money transaction, they shall approach the appropriate forum for their remedy.
