ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur to dispose of C.C.No.187 of 2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on a complaint given by the petitioner, police have registered a case in C.C.No.187 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Section 430 of IPC. It is submitted that since the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 75 years, sought for a direction to early disposal of C.C.No.187 of 2023.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that summons are issued against the sole accused directing him to appear on 05.09.2023 and soon after service of summons against the accused and after framing of charges the prosecution is prepared to produce witnesses as directed by the trial Court. The same is recorded. Considering the circumstances, including the age of the petitioner, the learned Judicial 2/4

Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, is directed to expedite the disposal of C.C.No.187 of 2023 not later than six months after appearance of accused.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
