ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 27.04.2026, had directed the petitioners to file batta within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. The order copy has been uploaded on 20.05.2026. The petitioner has approached the trial Court on 25.05.2026 and the Court has not accepted the same on the ground that it has been filed beyond a period of three days.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the petitioners were under the impression that batta could be filed on the date of hearing and hence, the delay. Therefore, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the time is extended and the petitioners are directed to file batta on or before 23.06.2026.
