records pertaining to the impugned recruitment notification in Na.Ka.No.J1/18651/2019 dated 18.09.2020 on the file of the fourth respondent and the consequential impugned order in J1/18651/2019 dated 01.12.2020 on the file of the fifth respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction, directing the respondents 4 & 5 to select and appoint the petitioner in the post of Cook in any of the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Hostel at Kanyakumari District under Schedule Caste Arunthathiyar Community by way of following the Tamil Nadu Arunthathiyars (Special Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions including Private Educational Institutions and of appointments or posts in the services under the State within the Reservation for the Schedule Castes) Act & Rules, 2009.

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned recruitment notification dated 18.09.2020 issued by the fourth 3/7
respondent and also secondly challenging the impugned order dated 01.12.2020 passed by the fifth respondent.
2.According to the petitioner, the impugned notification has not followed the special reservation and therefore, the consequential selection list is not in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Arunthathiyars (Special Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions including Private Educational Institutions and of appointments or posts in the services under the State within the Reservation for the Schedule Castes) Act & Rules, 2009. 3.A counter has already been filed by the official respondents. As seen from the same, the official respondents have categorically contended that only in accordance with the impugned recruitment notification as well as by following due procedure established under law, the selection list was published.
Therefore, they would contend that there is no irregularity in the appointment of 6th to 23rd respondents to the subject post. Learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents would also submit that the selection process has already been completed and appointment orders issued and therefore, there are no vacancies in the entire State of Tamil Nadu.

4.Admittedly, the petitioner is not having the benefit of any interim order from this Court, eventhough, this Writ Petition has been filed in the year 2020 itself. Selection process has also been completed. Persons appointed have already been issued appointment orders and they have taken up their respective responsibilities as per the appointment orders issued by the official respondents. The respondents have also categorically contended that the petitioner is not eligible to be appointed to the subject post. Therefore, at this belated stage, the question of interfering with the selection list does not arise.
5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court is of the considered view that there is no merit in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
