PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 10.08.2020 and permit the petitioner to remit the provident fund amount received by the petitioner's deceased husband and to join the family pension scheme in accordance with the nomination made by the petitioner's deceased husband within the time as fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to permit the petitioner to remit the provident fund amount and to join the family pension scheme, by considering the representation, dated 10.08.2020.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that with the relief sought for in the prayer, though the petitioner has made a representation, dated 10.08.2020 to the respondents, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.None appeared on behalf of the respondents. 4.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and in view of the delay in disposing of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.08.2020, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.08.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.19020 of 2020 and in accordance with law, keeping in mind that the respondents have already taken enough time to dispose of the such representation, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
