Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of the representation sent to the respondents on 18.01.2016 which was received by them on 19.01.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Mr.S.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Alagadevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the third respondent. By consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.The writ petitioner is working as Typist in Panchayat Union Thanjavur and she was given appointment on 28.02.2013 and after completion of probation period of two years, she would have been made permanent on 28.02.2015. As the petitioner had taken Medical Leave for 3 months, her probation period was completed on 27.05.2015. While so, the respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5347/2015/f3 dated 17.11.2015 had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

declared the probation of the six candidates and made them permanent and in that proceedings, the petitioner's name has not been included. As the petitioner also had completed her extended probation period, she ought to have been considered for making permanent. Precisely, the petitioner's name has not been mentioned in that list. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 18.01.2016, which was received by the respondent on 19.01.2016 and so far, there is no response. Hence, she is before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the said representation dated 18.01.2016.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.01.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
