No. 3353530/2025/A5 dated 09.02.2026 to login the said classification of the land from Sarkar Porampoke Natham-held over land (H.O) to Rayath-House in respect of the land to an extent of 0.10.5 Ares situated in Survey No.246/5, Konnaiyur Revenue Village, Moolangudi Village, Arasamalai region, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District and consequently to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioners by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2026 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders in the pending proceedings in Na.Ka. No. 3353530/2025/A5 dated 09.02.2026.

2. The petitioner seeks reclassification of the subject land. The petitioner's earlier representation was considered by the Revenue Divisional Officer, who passed an order dated 20.08.2025. Subsequently, the Revenue Divisional Officer, by communication dated 09.02.2026, recommended the petitioner's request to the District Collector for appropriate action.

3. Despite the said recommendation, the first respondent has not passed any orders. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to 2/5

consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2026 in the light of the recommendation made by the Revenue Divisional Officer and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
