ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 21 days ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's son, namely Kali Tamilvannan @ Tamil @ Kalai, S/o.Periyasamy convict prisoner(C.P.6294) now confined at Central Prison, Madurai, to attend the petitioner's medical ailments, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits

of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 30.06.2025 strictly in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
