According to the defacto complainant, the petitioner promised to secure a job in the Civil Engineering Department in Chennai Corporation and this petitioner alleged to have received money and thereafter failed to do so. Since, the cause of action arose within Chennai, the file has been sent to Commissioner of Police, Chennai, on the point of jurisdiction. 3.Since, the enquiry is now transferred, the petitioner can work out his remedy before proper court through appropriate proceedings.
