ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey the property and to grant the patta in punja land in survey Nos.133/4c, and 133/5c4, in patta no.2025, to an extent of 30 cents at Usilampatti, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District within the time fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.K.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.In order to get patta for the land in S.Nos.133/4c, and 133/5c4, in patta no.2025, to an extent of 30 cents at Usilampatti, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, the petitioner has given a representation on 06.05.2019 by way of application to the respondents, especially, the 2nd respondent and the said application is still pending with the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said representation of the representation/application dated 06.05.2019 is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.18570 of 2019 decided on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation/application of the petitioner would be decided on merits and final order would be passed thereon, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein and taking into account the factual matrix of the case, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction:
"The 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation/application of the petitioner dated 06.05.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
