ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to survey and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property in Survey No.226/15A with an extent of 5074 sq.feet situated at Seemanuthu Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering his application dated 24.06.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the subject property was settled by his mother Meenakshiammal in favour of the petitioner and his son under registered settlement deed dated 08.09.2010. The patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner's mother Meenakshiammal in patta No.414. On the strength of the settlement deed, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 24.06.2025 in Petition No.2025/N123/24/011256, seeking survey of the said property and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the application was submitted only on 24.06.2025 and the same will be considered as per seniority.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 24.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, neighbour land owners and other interested parties.
