Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner was vending vegetables on the road side. The local body has established a vegetable market. The petitioner has been allotted Shop No.47. The petitioner undertakes to take the shop by complying with the usual formalities within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel for the petitioner alleges that the petitioner has been selectively targeted while the others are allowed to carry on their vending activities. The respondent is directed to ensure that no vending of vegetables is allowed in public streets. I am constrained to issue such a direction only to ensure that there is equality of treatment.
