For Respondent : Mr.E.ANTONY SAHAYA PRABAHAR, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime.No. 199 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 2.The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.199 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3.It appears that from the defacto complainant, the petitioner has received substantial some of money. While of the defacto complainant would claim that he gave a sum of Rs.20 Lakhs, there is material to show that the matter was agreed to be settled for a sum of Rs.13 Lakhs. I wanted to know from the petitioner's counsel if the petitioner is willing make some payment. There is no encouraging response from the petitioner. The petitioner has not only not returned the money received from the defacto complainant but has gone to the extent of giving a PCR complaint against the defacto complainant. The same has been registered as Crime No.198 of 2021.

CRL OP(MD). No.15599 of 2021 4.Taking note of the overall conduct of the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
