O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his application, dated 5.4.2025 seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property in S.No.31/5A, situated at Ward Y Block No.3, Puthur West Taluk, Trichy 2.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property has been in possession and enjoyment of the Petitioner's family right from the days of his grand-father Lakshmanan, son of Nagaiya. The Petitioner also claimed that the above mentioned property was allotted to his family long back and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same, by virtue of his long possession. He filed a 2/5

representation on 5.4.2025 before the second respondent seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 05.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
