2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that even though the charges have been framed on 17.03.2022, the trial in this case has not been commenced. Accordingly, the petitioner has sought for direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai, to dispose of C.C.No.79 of 2022.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the first respondent Police submits that the case is posted for producing L.W.1 to L.W.3 by the Police on 26.10.2023.

4. Considering the circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kuzhithurai, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.79 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible not later than six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
