ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 29.05.2013 and 11.07.2014 and subsequent reminder letter dated 15.10.2015. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Ms.N.Vallinayaki @ Janani, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent. 3.The petitioner who is an employee of the respondent society claims that he is eligible to hold the post of Secretary. However, for the past 6 1⁄2 of years, he has been paid in the clerical scale of pay. Hence, he submitted a representation dated 29.05.2013 to the respondent requesting for promotion to the post of Secretary. He has also sent further reminders on 11.07.2014 and 15.10.2015. Since the above representations did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition.

4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
