Contemnors/Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the contemnors / respondents for willfully disobeying and not complying with the order of this Honourable Court dated 03.07.2019 in W.P. (MD) No. 14264 of 2019. Prayer in WP(MD). 14264/ 2019 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order of the 1st respondent dated 14.06.19 passed in Ref. TNSTC/Karai/L/1969, quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to settle and pay all the terminal benefits of the petitioner by paying Rs.10,04,298/- towards Gratuity, Rs.5,41,475/- towards EPF Employees Contribution, Rs.4,90,933/- Encashment of of 269 days of Earned/Sick Leaves and etc., forthwith together with 18% interest per annum annum and further directing the respondents to pay his Rs.8.25,414/- toward Commutated value of pension under TNSTC Pension Funds Rules, together with 18% interest per annum, with a time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the respondent made a submission that the order passed in the writ petition has been complied with.The amount due including interest has been settled in one installment. 2.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner raised certain objections regarding the quantum of interest paid. It is for the petitioner to approach the competent authority, if any error in calculation or otherwise.

3.Thus, the contempt petition stands closed.
