ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to conduct survey of the property situated in S.No.257/1A and 334/2C measuring 2 cents and 6 cents respectively in Koranattukaruppur Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering his representation dated 01.04.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Babu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by his father Radha Krishnan under sale deed, dated 06.02.1979 from the legal heirs of one Meenakshi Sundaram. The Revenue documents like Chitta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner and

others. He submitted an application before the respondents seeking survey of the subject property on 01.04.2025. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this court. 4.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has failed to submit proper on-line application for survey of the property and therefore, his representation has not been considered.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to produce the acknowledgement for submission of online application before the first respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. On production of acknowledgement, the respondents shall consider the application of the petitioner and pass further orders on its own merits within a further period of 8 weeks, after issuing notice to petitioner and the persons in whose name the revenue documents for the subject property stands and the neighboring land owners.

6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
