This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection for the petitioner and her family members for conducting Vinayagar Chathurthi Mandagapadi in "Shri Athmanathas Swami Temple" in Nagudi, Aranthangi, Pudukottai District to be conducted on 31.08.2019 to 03.09.2019
2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the seeking police protection to conduct the Vinayagar Chathurthi Mandagapadi in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 27.07.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 30.08.2019.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
