PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.123 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/2nd accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.04.2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 342, 297, 355, 376(D), 506(ii), 1/4

414, 34 of IPC and Section 4 of Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in crime No.123 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with accused Nos.1 and 3 had committed gang rape on the victim and robbed golden articles and Rs.14,000/- belonging to the defacto complainant, hence the case.

3. There is no representation for the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial is commenced and out of 50 witnesses, 12 witnesses have been examined and remaining witnesses going to be examined at this stage.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the grevious nature of allegation that is made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
