ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to issue Passport to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's Application in File No.TR2066970520324 dated 25.09.2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the second respondent submits that the petitioner has been arrayed as Accused No.1 in Crime No.2 of 2024 for offences under Sections 147, 294b, 323, 355, 506(1) of IPC read with Section 4 of TNPHW Act. It is further submitted that a charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam in C.C.No.49 of 2025.

3. That being the case, there is no question of granting any relief to the petitioner at this stage. It is open to the petitioner to file a suitable application 2/4

before the concerned Court for appropriate relief to process the passport application of the petitioner.

4. The writ petition stands dismissed with the above liberty.
