2. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that no application is received from the petitioner seeking for police protection. According to the petitioner, she has sent a representation through online on 05.07.2023 and a copy of the same produced before this Court which is without signature of anybody.
3. Once there is no record before the respondent Police to show that the petitioner has requested the respondents Police for police protection, the petitioner cannot seek for any direction to the respondents Police for providing police protection. Hence, this Criminal Original 2/4
Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondents Police and file an application in writing with duly signature for police protection by explaining the reason as to why she intends the police protection and on filing of such application, the respondents Police are directed to dispose of the same as quickly as possible.
