O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.219 of 2018 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram.

2. It is alleged that the first petitioner, who is claiming as President and the second petitioner, who is claiming as Secretary in the Ramanathapuram Vadathisai Hindu Sathiriya Nadar Uravin Murai Association, had collected a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- from the shops owned by the said Association and they deposited the said amount in their respective Bank Accounts. Hence, the respondent herein filed a private complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.219 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(i), 416, 417, 468, 469, 477(A) IPC.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit this Court may permit the petitioners to file a protest petition before the trial Court.

5. In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, permits the petitioners to file a protest petition before the trial Court at the appropriate time.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
