ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to give promotion to the petitioner from the year 1988. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.R.Anandaraj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, she was appointed as sales woman by the second respondent in the year 1981. She was removed from service on 20.05.1988 on certain allegations. Thereafter, she preferred an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner of Labour. The appellate authority has allowed the appeal and directed the second respondent to reinstate her with back wages. The said order was challenged by the second respondent by filing W.P.No.8351 of 1989 which was also dismissed. Pursuant to the same, W.A.No.

93 of 1999 which was also dismissed. Finally, the petitioner was reinstated in service on 15.02.2000. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P(MD)No.7118 of 2015 seeking promotion consider her service. This Court by an order dated 29.04.2015 directed the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion. Complying with the said order, the petitioner was promoted to the post of Junior Assistant/fertilizer salesman. However, she was assigned the work of ration shop salesman. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a detailed representation to the respondents on 26.11.2015 which is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition.

4.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.11.2015 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
