This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.93 of 2023 dated 28.02.2023, as expeditiously as possible.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that he has given a complaint against the accused, based on which, the respondents Police have registered a case in Crime No.93 of 2023 on 28.02.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(2), but there is no progress in the investigation and therefore, sought for suitable directions to the Police. 3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submits that so far, the statement of six witnesses was recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. and that the investigation is under progress, and soon after the completion of the investigation, the respondents Police will file the final report.

Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents Police to complete the investigation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 19.07.2023 NCC :
