ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners and their family members from threatening acts of the third respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the third respondent has sanctioned a housing loan of Rs.7,45,196/- to the petitioners on EMI basis. Due to sudden ill-health of the second petitioner, the petitioners were unable to pay the E.M.I from 1/3

February 2017 onwards. Hence, the third respondent raised the interest in higher manner without any intimation. In this circumstance, the petitioner requested the respondent to give leave period for 12 months to enabling them to pay the E.M.I by managing the financial crises. But, the third respondent is giving life threat to the petitioners. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 09.08.2019 before the respondent nos.1 and 2 and requested to take action. So far, no action has been taken by the respondent police against the third respondent. Hence, the petitioners prayed before this Court to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners and their family members.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent nos.1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record. 4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 09.08.2019 and after conducting enquiry, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
