This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners and their family members for the enjoyment of her properties, from the threatening acts of the respondent no.3 by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 09.08.2019, within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.A.Haja Mohideen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.T.R.Jeyapalam, learned counsel for the third respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent seeking police protection on 09.08.2019.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the representation given by the petitioner is pending.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry upon the complaint given by the petitioner and after affording an opportunity of hearing to both the de facto complainant and the third respondent, shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four(04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
