This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent not to issue the tax receipt to anybody other then the Thiruvaduthurai Athinam in respect of the land property in Town Survey Nos.251/3A, 251/4 and 251/5 measuring an 1 Acre 41 cents situated at Rice Mill Road, Rajapalayam, Rajapalayam Taluk Virudhunagar District.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he had submitted a representation dated 17.03.2016 along with relevant records to the respondent, seeking not to issue any house tax receipts to the encroachers, as they are attempting to get receipts in their names by producing fake documents. Since there was no response on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondent, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders be passed thereon.

In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.03.2011 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
