ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the retirement benefits of the petitioner, after deducting part payment and to pay the interest for the belated payment of retirement benefits and also to issue the order of permitting the petitioner to retire from service.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that part amount of the retirement benefits has not been paid for the reason that 81 enquiry is pending with the first respondent and a direction may be issued to conclude such enquiry.

In view of the submission so made, this Court directs the first respondent to complete the enquiry pending against the petitioner, as per the procedure contemplated under the applicable Act and Rules, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits.
5. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 09.07.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No sm 3/4
