Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to R2 is dispensed with.

3.The petitioner challenges the proceedings of the peace committee meeting held on 28.07.2022. It has been held time and again that such decisions are not amenable to legal challenge. They are bereft of any statutory value or force. These are matters that will have to be decided elsewhere. A decision taken in peace committee meeting can never be enforced by the statutory authorities.
