The petitioner has applied for grant of patta based on a compromise decree passed by the District Mahila Court, Trichy in O.S.No.216 of 2017 and approached this Court for a Mandamus to issue a direction to the third respondent to pass an order on his application, dated 26.05.2023.
2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents seeks short accommodation to ascertain the stage of the application before the Tahsildar concerned. 3.Considering that this petitioner has filed an application on 26.05.2023 and the same is pending before the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to take a decision on the application of this 2/4
petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the parties concerned. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
