For Respondent : Mr.KR.Bharathi Kannan, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.1253 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Cr.No.1253 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, the petitioner and other accused persons were assembled unlawfully in front of the defacto complainant's house and scolded the defacto complainant by using filthy language and also attacked the defacto complainant with wooden log and caused simple injury. Hence, the case has been registered.

CRL OP(MD).No.15018 of 2020 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is also having four previous cases. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. sd/- 17/12/2020 / TRUE COPY / / /2020 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
