Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to implement the order passed by the Deputy Tahsildar, Arimalam in proceedings No.Ni.Mu.R.T.R.59/2002-2003 Aa2 dated 18.11.2002 and consequently made necessary update in the patta online website on the basis of the said order by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.06.2025. 1/5

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to implement the order passed by the Deputy Tahsildar, Arimalam, in proceedings No.Ni.Mu.R.T.R.59/2002-2003 Aa2, dated 18.11.2002 and consequently made necessary update in the digital records by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.06.2025.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the properties situated in Survey Nos.88/19A and 84/17 in Kilivayal Village, Nallammal Samuhiram Circle, Thirumayam Taluk, originally belonged to the petitioner's grandfather, namely, Somaiya. He executed a Will in respect of the said properties in favour of the petitioner and his father, namely, So. Vellaisamy. Based on the said Will, the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Arimalam, passed an order dated 18.11.2022, mutating the revenue records in favour of the petitioner and his father, Vellaisamy. However, the same has not been reflected in the digital records. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 04.06.2025 2/5

seeking implementation of the order dated 18.11.2022 passed by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Arimalam. Since the same has not been considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents would submit the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to submit the details of the legal heirs of the said Somaiya before the 3rd respondent within a period of two weeks from today. The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other legal heirs of the said Somaiya, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
