O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter by name M.Sarumathi, aged about 19 years, was found missing from 17.09.2021, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent police. But, so far no action has been taken by the respondents to secure the detenue. Hence, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, on instructions would submit that the complaint has been received in C.S.R.No.326 of 2021 and the initial investigation reveals that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.1502 of 2021 detenue is a major and she got married with one Surya, who is an Srilankan Refugee and now residing at Refugee Camp at Srivilliputhur and the detenue has been secured.
3.The detenue is produced before this Court. The petitioner and his wife are also present before this Court. We have enquired the detenue. She has stated that she is willing to go with her husband. 4.Considering the fact that the detenue is a major and now got married and she is not illegally detained, we find no merit in this petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
